1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Northbound Works website, https://northbowo.com, and establish general conditions for inquiries and business engagements.
Northbound Works is a business registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
By using our website, you agree to the website-related provisions of these Terms. Paid services are governed by the written proposal, statement of work, or service agreement accepted by the relevant parties, together with any terms expressly incorporated into that agreement.
2. Services
Northbound Works provides technical and operational services to businesses, including:
- Construction planning and site logistics support
- Technical and visual documentation
- Operational project support
- Digital operations and development support
- Dedicated technical and development teams
Services may be delivered through project-based engagements, ongoing monthly technical support, or dedicated team arrangements.
The precise scope, responsibilities, deliverables, timelines, and commercial terms are established separately for each engagement.
3. Pricing and Quotations
Prices displayed on the website are starting prices for indicative engagement models, not fixed quotations or offers capable of immediate acceptance.
Current advertised engagement models include:
- Project-Based Services: Starting from USD 1,200 per engagement
- Ongoing Technical Support: Starting from USD 2,500 per month, with a standard allocation of 40 hours per month
- Dedicated Teams: Individually quoted
Final fees depend on scope, complexity, required expertise, allocation, and other agreed requirements.
Website prices may be updated without affecting previously accepted agreements.
4. Inquiries and Contract Formation
Submitting a contact form or selecting an engagement model does not create a service contract, payment obligation, or confirmed reservation of resources.
Following an inquiry, Northbound Works may provide a quotation, proposal, or statement of work.
An engagement begins only when the applicable terms have been accepted by both parties and any agreed commencement conditions have been satisfied.
5. Payments and Billing
Fees, invoicing arrangements, currency, payment schedules, and applicable taxes will be specified in the accepted commercial agreement.
Monthly support does not automatically renew unless a recurring arrangement is expressly agreed by the client.
Where monthly renewal is agreed, the billing date, renewal conditions, and cancellation notice requirements must be communicated before acceptance.
Northbound Works may use authorized third-party payment providers for approved payment methods. Clients should only submit card information through the payment provider's secure payment interface, not through general website forms.
6. Monthly Technical Support
The standard ongoing technical support package provides 40 hours of allocated support per monthly service period, subject to the agreed scope and scheduling arrangements.
Unless otherwise stated in the accepted agreement:
- Hours are tracked against the applicable monthly service period.
- Unused hours do not carry forward to subsequent periods.
- Additional hours require client approval and may incur additional charges.
- Where Northbound Works cannot provide agreed capacity for reasons attributable to Northbound Works, an appropriate extension, service credit, or refund will be arranged.
Detailed allocation, reporting, and service availability terms will be documented in the relevant agreement.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for supplying accurate information, relevant documentation, access, approvals, and feedback necessary to deliver the agreed services.
Clients must ensure that information and materials supplied to Northbound Works may lawfully be shared and used.
Delays or changes attributable to incomplete information, unavailable access, or revised requirements may affect agreed timelines or fees, subject to mutual agreement.
8. Deliverables and Revisions
Deliverables, deadlines, review periods, revision allowances, and acceptance criteria will be specified in the applicable agreement.
Changes outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation or delivery schedule. Additional work will not be charged without an agreed commercial basis.
9. Intellectual Property
Each party retains ownership of its pre-existing intellectual property, tools, methodologies, and materials.
Ownership, licensing, and permitted use of project deliverables will be established in the applicable written agreement.
Northbound Works will not publicly disclose confidential client deliverables or represent client work as its own without appropriate authorization.
10. Confidentiality
Northbound Works will take reasonable measures to protect confidential business and project information received during engagements.
Additional confidentiality requirements may be addressed through a separate nondisclosure agreement or service agreement.
11. Technical and Professional Limitations
Northbound Works provides technical and operational support within the agreed scope.
Unless expressly agreed and legally permitted, its services do not replace the responsibilities of licensed architects, engineers of record, statutory consultants, site safety professionals, or other appointed responsible parties.
Clients remain responsible for obtaining necessary professional reviews, regulatory approvals, and site-specific authorizations.
12. Cancellation, Termination, and Refunds
Cancellation and refund arrangements are described in the Northbound Works Cancellation and Refund Policy.
For standard engagements, the standard commercial terms are:
- 15 calendar days' written cancellation notice for monthly technical support
- 30 calendar days' written cancellation notice for dedicated teams
- No automatic rollover of unused monthly support hours
- Refund assessment based on services delivered and eligible, documented committed costs
- Review of complete refund requests within five business days
- Initiation of approved refunds within ten business days after approval
These terms apply where incorporated into the relevant agreement, subject to applicable law and any expressly agreed variations.
13. Liability
Each party remains responsible for its obligations under the applicable agreement and mandatory law.
Any agreed liability limitations, exclusions, or remedies for professional services will be addressed in the relevant service agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
14. Website Use
Visitors must not interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful content, or misuse website functionality.
Website information is provided for general business information and may be updated periodically.
15. Privacy
Personal information collected through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, subject to applicable mandatory laws and any different governing-law provisions expressly agreed in a separate written contract.
17. Changes to These Terms
Northbound Works may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date.
Changes will not retroactively alter accepted commercial agreements unless lawfully agreed by the parties.
